Agriculture

Minimizing the risk of HPAI (Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza) has been an ambition the team at KaisAir has spent significant time and resources on. KaisAir’s involvement in the poultry world with our poultry housing equipment has made us acutely aware of the risks HPAI creates for farmers like you.

Barns pose several specific challenges that create a breeding ground for airborne pathogens:

  • Multiple points of air entry
  • Negative pressure systems
  • High air exchange rate

Commercially available solutions either cannot clean the air quickly enough or are too expensive to be a viable solution for the agricultural market.

By combining available commercial solutions and co-developing a customized product with a Japanese company, we can provide solutions tailored specifically for the agricultural market that make financial sense for everyday farmers.

Our products use filtration (Japanese/Kaiser joint system), Hydroxyl generation (Pyure & Japanese/Kaiser), photocatalytic reaction (Calistair) and heat-activated catalytic reaction (Calistair).

Japanese-Kaiser Ag Joint System

Using a special blend of minerals, our partners in Japan have developed a patented air mask capable of capturing viruses and killing pathogens (scientific studies are available upon request). Using their technology and Kaiser's agricultural experience, we developed a system that can be mounted in air inlet chimneys. This innovative system also uses UV lights to promote the creation of hydroxyls in the air space.

The Pyure Company

The line of equipment from The Pyure Company uses a patent-protected germicidal UV lamp to promote Hydroxyl generation in the air space. It cleans and purifies the air of pathogens by introducing these hydroxyls into the air stream, mimicking what the sun does naturally outdoors. Pyure is also able to treat surfaces and rooms and not just the air that passes through the system.

This purification system has been scientifically proven to be safe and effective (scientific research available upon request).

Calistair Reactor

The patented honeycomb device designed by Calistair takes NASA-level technology and raises it to the next level. Installing their system in front of air handling equipment or in line with airflow traps destroys pathogens as soon as they pass through the unit. Together with Systel, Calistair's scientific data shows a 98.8% reduction in influenza virus in a single pass through their reactor with a wind speed of 2.3m/s! (Scientific data available upon request).

Any agricultural project using air handling equipment with a high volume of fresh incoming air can benefit from installing the Calistair system.
